Did something new happen or is this just another reflection on Matt?
I think if you have a high opinion of yourself, you will start looking for non-assholes. Then you won't be looking for people to show you that you're not good enough for things you deserve.
At the very least it helps you realize what you have when you have a good guy. Plus, makes it easier for the good guys to impress some girls, because all they have had are the bad guys.
probably the same reason I'm attracted to the thrill of the chase.
